| Description | This course is a continuation of the Singing Workshop Level 1. We will learn music theory as well as continue our exploration of singing technique. However, one does not need to have taken Level 1 to participate in this class. Subjects covered is equivalent to ABRSM theory grade 1. Ever wondered what those dots and lines on music scores mean? Join us as we cover the basics of music theory, including reading notes, rhythm and tempo, scales, keys, clefs and so on. Learning music theory is learning the language of music, as such it is a subject that can take years to master, but there is no better way to get the ball rolling by learning the rudiments with us! |
| Trainer | Steven Ang
Steven Ang has been a performer and singing teacher for many years. He has obtained a music degree from Taiwan’s Soochow University. He has performed in many countries including Spain, France, Italy, London, Taiwan, Malaysia, China and Singapore. Steven’s students have won competitions and are regularly featured in theatre productions including The Sound of Music and those by Wild Rice, ChildAid and Singapore Lyric Opera. |
