| Eligibility | All ages and nationalities welcome! This course is also suitable for allied health professionals who want to develop their expertise in caring for individuals with mild cognitive challenges in healthcare settings. |
| Objective | This course focuses on enhancing the mind-body connection through specific Brain Gym movements designed to improve cognitive and physical performance. By integrating activities that promote coordination, balance, sensory integration, participants can boost concentration, memory and learning abilities. These exercises stimulate neural pathways and synchronise brain function with physical movement, fostering better communication between the brain and body. This holistic approach supports overall mental clarity, emotional stability and efficient learning processes, benefitting individuals across various ages and skills levels. |
| Description | This course aims to: 1. Enhance Cognitive Skills: Improve memory, focus, and mental clarity with exercises that stimulate brain function. 2. Increase Physical Coordination: Strengthen motor skills and balance to support everyday activities and prevent falls. 3. Promote Emotional Health: Reduce stress and enhance mood through activities that foster relaxation and emotional resilience. 4. Encourage Lifelong Learning: Keep your mind active and adaptable with brain-boosting exercises. 5. Foster Social Connections: Provide opportunities for social interaction and community through collaborative exercises and group activities.Program and exercises for Part 2 is an extension of Part 1 based on these themes: Session 1: Mind – Body Harmony Session 2: Move with Joy and Balance Session 3: Spark your Creative Flow Session 4: Calm Heart, Calm Mind |
| Trainer | Norliah Daroos
Norliah Daroos is a certified BrainGym© Instructor dedicated to enhancing cognitive and physical performance through movements. She was an MOE teacher, now MOE registered flexi adjunct teacher with a passion for unlocking potential, she guides individuals of all ages BrainGym movements that improve focus, coordination and learning abilities. She had taught BrainGym in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. She has a degree in History and Politics from University of Adelaide. Apart from that she has a diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Massage and Aromatherapy. She is a trained Craniosacral Therapist, Hypnotherapist and Creative Trauma Cleansing practitioner. She looks forward to support others in their journey towards a more balanced and empowered individuals. |
