| Objective | Make casual woven non-stretch materials – Loose-Fitting Top and Bottoms (Elastic Waistband) |
| Description | Top – Take body measurements – Drafting of bodice frame with appropriate ease – Drafting of collar – Drafting of set-in-sleeves – Application of seam allowances – Label and prepare pattern piecesBottom – Take waist and hip measurements – Drafting of bottoms frame with appropriate ease – Calculation of crotch depth – Drafting of front and back crotch – Plan and draft pocket – Application of seam allowances – Label and prepare pattern piecesCutting:– Prepare and pre-shrink fabric Lay out patterns – Cut all pattern pieces – Transfer of notches and markings to main fabric – Organize cut pieces for Overlocking and sewing Materials to buy: A starter kit at $60 or individual items can be purchased in class.
