| Objective | Learn graphic design using Canva and how to create digital posters, invitations, photo collages and other artworks |
| Description | Participants will learn graphic design using Canva and how to create digital posters, invitations, photo collages and other artworks. By the end of the course, participants will be able to name the benefits and functions of Canva, design and download a simple poster, upload assets and share their designs on the platform. Participants will then use the skills learnt to do and deliver a final project.
Session 1: Introduction to Canva. The benefits of using Canva including use cases for business and recreation. Design basics – Step-by-step guide to Canva. Set up an account. The different formats – Templates/images/texts/create a poster using template, download the design. Session 2: Step-by-step guide to Canva -part 2 – Advance templates; Upload function; Share designs; Create a photo collage; Share your design (Bringing your own laptop is an essential for this class) |
