| Objective | This knitting course aims to promote mental well-being by leveraging knitting’s therapeutic benefits. Participants will learn how knitting’s repetitive motions can induce calmness and relaxation and reduce stress, helping them cope with depression and anxiety. Throughout the sessions, participants will acquire lifelong knitting skills, enabling them to read patterns and create beautiful, handmade items for themselves or as heartfelt gifts for others. |
| Description | Elevate your knitting skills with our intermediate course on circular knitting and the magic loop method. Designed for knitters who have mastered the classic knit and purl stitches, this course dives into innovative patterns and techniques that will expand your knitting repertoire. Throughout the course, you’ll work on simple designs and create wearable items, gaining confidence in handling circular projects and the magic loop technique.

| Trainer | Jennifer Lim
Jennifer is a risk management consultant by profession. She learnt the art of crocheting from her grandmother who was instrumental in igniting her interest in crocheting and knitting. She has created big projects like Afghans, cushion covers, floor mats, beanies, scarves and cowls and even clothes for babies and soft toys. Some of these works were commissioned for charity. She has taught crocheting and knitting in the ministry that she worked with previously. She also indulges in painting in oil, acrylic, watercolour and coloured pencils. |
