Objective This course deepens musical appreciation by exploring articulations across keys beyond C, and embracing diverse musical styles. Students will gain insight into the expressive potential of the chromatic harmonica, with a focus on the slider mechanism—a hallmark of the instrument.
Through the introduction of G and F major keys and their relative minors, learners will develop greater fluency and versatility. By the end of the course, participants will be able to perform a wider range of songs and musical pieces with enhanced technique and musicality.
Description Building on the foundational skills from Level 1, this module takes your chromatic harmonica playing to the next stage. You’ll develop more refined techniques, with a strong emphasis on mastering the slider to create smoother transitions, richer tonal quality, and heightened musical expression.
The course also expands your music theory knowledge through the introduction of G and F major keys and their relative minors. By the end of the module, you’ll be equipped to interpret and perform more intricate melodies with greater confidence, nuance, and artistic flair.
