| Objective | To develop the individual singing voice for solo or choir singing. |
| Description | Participants will learn basic vocal techniques to enable them to sing, including intonation, breathing, resonance, and diction. We will learn how to ‘use your tummy’ to sing, create a beautiful singing tone through various physical exercises and use this tone for musical communication. By the end of the course, participants will develop the individual singing voice for solo or choir singing. |
| Trainer | Steven Ang
Steven Ang has been a performer and singing teacher for many years. He has obtained a music degree from Taiwan’s Soochow University. He has performed in many countries including Spain, France, Italy, London, Taiwan, Malaysia, China and Singapore. Steven’s students have won competitions and are regularly featured in theatre productions including The Sound of Music and those by Wild Rice, Childaid and Singapore Lyric Opera. |
