| Objective | Advanced Course – Learners will be able to apply SINGING skills, including Solo Singing, after learning from Choir Singing Basic. The outcome includes being able to develop a positive habit of VOCAL MAINTENANCE, and be singing regularly in social or commercial events. |
| Description | Participants will learn more in-depth voice techniques to enable them to sing in harmony which includes intonation, breathing, resonance, and diction through a series of singing demonstrations and performances. Participants will also learn about performing attitudes and methods, gain the ability to evaluate singing performances and learn how to be engaging and entertaining on stage.
This course is a progression from Choir Singing Voice Training (Level 1). |
| Trainer | Steven Ang
Steven Ang has been a performer and singing teacher for many years. He has obtained a music degree from Taiwan’s Soochow University. He has performed in many countries including Spain, France, Italy, London, Taiwan, Malaysia, China and Singapore. Steven’s students have won competitions and are regularly featured in theatre productions including The Sound of Music and those by Wild Rice, Childaid and Singapore Lyric Opera. |
